I am seeing the IP address of a device and the hostname of the device showing up in alerts.
When I go to the IP address info, it does say it is in use by the device/hostname so I’m not sure why it is showing up separately in the records.
Is there a way to stop that from happening?
Hi there, thanks for the post. Do you mind providing a screenshot or something that will describe your issue in more detail? From your question I’m not sure if you mean that you’re not expecting IP address reuse but are seeing it in the ExtraHop UI, that there are unexpected results from some Record query you issued, or something else.
